Experience cannot be gained by taking short-cuts.
Prior to establishing Good Solutions in 2001 John had over 25 years senior management experience in the Automotive, Asset Finance and Rental industries. As a business consultant he has built on this experience and worked with a number of clients from different sectors covering a wide range of different projects.
A business studies graduate, John has previously been Sales Director of Volvo Trucks in the UK and Ireland and also played a leading part in building the highly successful Volvo Financial Services business in the UK and Europe. Here he was Managing Director of four divisions, covering the Truck, Bus & Coach and Construction Equipment markets. During his time with Volvo John was also appointed Chairman of Volvo Finance in Poland and was a non-executive director at two other Volvo companies in the UK.
John also has experience in the public sector as a non-executive director within the NHS.
Although most of John's work today is focused on strategic issues, his passionate commitment to customer care continues to underpin all aspects of his work.
Over the years we have built an extensive network of individuals and organisations to work with if additional resources are required for any particular project. However, we have particularly close links with two exceptional individuals - Jacques Sasson, who brings a creative and European perspective to our work in the commercial sector; and Rob Pearce, who brings a lifetime of experience in the public and third sectors but can also bring a different perspective to some of our commercial projects.
After holding several managerial positions in important corporate agencies, Jacques established Thélème - his own communications agency in 1995. Based in Paris, Thélème's mission is to solve communications issues for their clients with an inventive but pragmatic and straight-forward approach.
Jacques brings experience and innovation in equal measure to any communications issue. He has worked with John for several years, helping customers to develop the links between intelligent commercial strategies and creative communications.
Rob operates his own management consultancy business specialising in public and third sector work. Established in 1998, Response Consulting has built a strong reputation for the delivery of a wide range of projects in challenging areas.
Today, he combines this work with his role as Chief Executive of Castel Froma, a third sector organisation in Leamington Spa that offers specialist residential care for people with acquired brain injury and neurological disability.
Rob also has extensive experience as a non-executive director in the NHS, which is where he first worked with John. He originally qualified as a nurse and worked in public health and development in Ethiopia. After returning to the UK he held several senior management positions within the NHS before setting up his own business and moving into management consultancy.
